Courses are ONLY available for EMSB students.
Online registration will be available from June 28th to July 2nd.
Summer School Dates 2024
- All courses will run 5 days a week from Monday to Friday
- Class times will be either 8:30 – 10:30 or 10:45 – 12:45 (Placement to be determined based on enrollment)
- All Secondary 1 – 3 courses: July 8th – July 26th
- Science and Technology lab component (555420): July 8th – July 12th
- Math Bridge course (565426): July 8th – July 26th plus exams (July 29 - Aug 2)
- All other Secondary 4 courses: July 15th – 26th plus exams (July 29 – Aug 2rd)
- All other Secondary 5 courses: July 8th – 19th plus exams (July 22 – Aug 2rd)
Registration
Registration for Secondary 1 – 3 will run from June 28th to July 2nd
Registration for Secondary 4 will run from July 3rd to July 11th
Registration for Secondary 5 will run from July 3rd to July 5th
- All Secondary 1 – 3 courses will be 100% virtual
- Please be aware that students must be in Canada to access their online classes
- Secondary 4 – 5 courses, including the bridge course, will be in person at John F. Kennedy High School
- The Science lab component will be 100% in person at John F. Kennedy High School
- All exams will be written at John F. Kennedy High School
Cost for Summer School:
There is no cost for summer school in 2024. The EMSB has chosen to use rattrapage funds from the MEQ to cover all student summer school fees.

Secondary I & II - Fifteen-Day Summer School Program (Virtual)
- Courses are only available to EMSB students

- The registration for Summer School must be completed online
- Any registrations submitted after the deadline will only be considered if space permits
