EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Extracurricular activities are an integral part of student life at RHS. These enriching experiences provide a wide range of benefits that go beyond academics. They are a great way to connect with classmates who share similar interests, enjoy doing what you love, or try something new.

Rosemount understands the importance of extracurricular activities in a teenager's overall education and school experience and strongly encourages all students to get involved in school life beyond the classroom. We have a team of dedicated teachers and staff who moderate and supervise our activities.

Whether you’re into sports, art, academics, community service, or the environment, there’s something for everyone!

Student Council

The RHS Student Council plays a vital role in enhancing school life by serving as a voice for the student body and fostering a sense of community. It provides representation by advocating for student interests and addressing their concerns with school administration. Through event planning, the council organizes engaging activities such as dances, fundraisers, and spirit weeks that boost school spirit and involvement. It also promotes leadership development, offering students valuable opportunities to build leadership and teamwork skills.

Prom Club

The Prom Committee is a collaborative group of students and staff dedicated to planning an unforgettable prom night. While students bring creativity and energy to the table (helping brainstorm themes, decorations, and entertainment), final decisions are made with staff guidance to ensure everything runs smoothly and meets school standards. It’s a fun and rewarding way to get involved, develop planning skills, and contribute to a major milestone in the school year.
