Rosemount students can take advantage of youth-oriented award programs, scholarships and travel opportunities. With the help and guidance of school staff and teachers, our students can live their dreams and reach their goals.

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award

Founded in 1956 by Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, the DoE’s Award is an exciting self-development program available to all young people ages 14-24 equipping them with life skills to make a difference to themselves, their communities and the world.

To date over 500,000 young people from Canada and 8 million youth in 140 countries have been motivated to undertake a variety of voluntary and challenging activities.

Rosemount High School is proud to be the first and only public school in Quebec to offer this prestigious program.

PSBGM Cultural Heritage Scholarship Awards

The PSBGM Cultural Heritage Foundation has created an endowment fund for the purposes of providing scholarships to EMSB students to continue their studies. Developed by the Foundation in concert with EMSB school administrators, the general guidelines established provide for the recognition of excellent academic achievement or perseverance against overwhelming odds.

Recipients are honoured at a school graduation ceremony or awards assembly. A representative of the PSBGM Cultural Heritage Foundation is present during the ceremony to award the scholarships to the students.
