Rosemount High School recently launched an inter-generational program with three local nursing/retirement and senior centres in the East End of Montreal. The program, initiated by Spiritual and Community Animator  Vince Lacroce, will include Almage Seniors Centre, Ukrainian Residence of Montreal “Villa” and CHSLD Dante. In all, over 30 RHS students will volunteer throughout the year. The aim of the program is to enhance awareness and appreciation of cultural heritage and traditions, to purposefully bring together people of different generations in ongoing, mutually beneficial exchange, and to learn from one another in a joyful and playful way.
